Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Floodlights app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Floodlights. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google or an email one-time code. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your sign-in email secure. Choose a username that you have the right to use; we may reclaim usernames that infringe others' rights or impersonate.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
• Upload content (such as a username, display name, or avatar) that is illegal, hateful, obscene, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the app or its systems.
• Submit deliberately false or automated match data at scale.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create (your match logs, username, and avatar). You grant us the limited licence needed to store and display that content within the app to operate the service, including showing it on your public profile to other signed-in users. You're responsible for the content you upload.

5. The service

Floodlights is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. The cricket catalog (teams, competitions, stadiums) is curated and may contain errors or omissions. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Floodlights and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. The app is a personal logbook and is not a source of official cricket records.

7. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
